No they would not. So unbalanced, also way too big maps for playerbase of ours.

We will never know if we dont try so. Everybody says everything is unbalanced but since we never get to try it how will we really know if its unbalanced.

Well, de_dolls, for one, is way too unbalanced and you can tell if you've both played the mod and the map itself.

Trying something for the sake of trying it isn't smart. It's just extra work for the devs for no reason. Besides that, we've already tried it about 5 times because people keep insisting on it, and every time the same happens: people leave when these odder maps come into play. We keep coming back to the same conclusion.

Okay I can give u some thoughts behind this.

De_dolls: Mostly open map with long distances. Little bit of small corridors.
This map would be total warlock, mage, rogue dominance. Why?
Mages blinking out of t base and killing ct to their base, warlocks playing complete dot war, and impossible to catch them due so long distances. Also no way to get really close to them since they could just camp in open areas.

Deathcooking, pretty much any class with blink/jump would be dominant here. Also warlocks could use same dot and run tactic too well in this map.

E: Don't get me wrong, I love both of these maps in highly populated vanilla CSS. But with 5 players in team+modifications of this mod... No ty.

Keep in mind we've been a community for a long time(over 5 years). We've learned a lot about what works and what doesn't and what maps are suited for the mod and which aren't. Trust us, nobody wants to play an unbalanced map.

Sad fact is that mod is balanced around dd2. We played dd2 only for 4 years and that's how it was balanced.

If u wanna suggest new maps, try to think maps that have same kind of qualities like dd2. We have also tried plenty of maps, so we can say pretty easily which works and which doesn't.

Texture allows "melee" classes get close to casters thanks to it's map design. Dolls and deathcook miss that. Also texture is small enough map for smaller playerbase but can also hold higher ones.

Django, belive me, custom maps are not good, aim_ag_texture is way ovewplayed for some stupid reason..

Should go back to DD2 only.. but then ppl would get bored i think... Should remove aim_ag from rotation for a while tho
