Just wondering.

I know that its bad using logic in a videogame, but arent shields supposed to prevent outside damage? If you are poisoned its in your body already so it isnt outside damage.

I am not trying to start a Rogue Poison balance thread, i am just wondering.

can't see the reason of it going through shield. Same in wow, and I am kind of satisfied with that mechanic.
You might have different opinion, but once you start playing mage/priest you will like this.

What about Rend? I heard that it goes through shields.

I agree that its a lot more satisfying knowing that your shield will prevent all damage though, better for knowledge burden too.

would be nice to see shields blocking rend too.

As i understand correct, the issue is:
Rend is currently a physical damage (like whirlwind)
Poison is magical damage (like immolate). There must be a glyph
Shields work against magical and bullet damage, not physical damage.
I think it would be nice to change the way shields work and let them block physical too.

How about with poison glyph, where it should deal true dmg, STILL antimagic shield blocks it, and i think every other shield (true dmg shouldnt be able to block or reduce in any way i think)

*DEAD* Evander : well, a little hack isn't a bad thing

[WC] Klashnekoff dealt 240% damage (140% KPR, 0% Low LVL)
[WC] (Your level: 85, Server average: 62, Klashnekoff's level: 85)
[WC] (Temporary Debug info). KPR INFO: kills - 9, rounds - 2, KPR penalty 30

^ not funny

This is what I just encountered today and was rather baffled by...

Could we please have something consistant? Or in the explanation of a skill have it actually say it ignores shielding (this wording may be confusing, but it doesn't say ignore being blocked >.>...).
Old Hits.
Spoiler

Hatchling #CA : DK should be OP since it is a donator class

Mazz: I will say that YOU are not looking at the talent tree correctly.
Attack Power means nothing for an unholy / frost DK

Nov 14,2013: [WC] You cast Frostbolt at Derek and deal 94 damage with a slowdown effect (Affected by: Critical)
Nov 17,2013: (versus mage boss) [WC]You cast Frostbolt at BonBons and deal 165 damage with a slowdown effect (Affected by:Critical)
For norm frostbolt of about 40 in this setup I say that is rather good :D..
