I would not state that it is broken, it might be hard to launch, but I hardly doubt nobody can use it.
Model Viewer:
Error message on launch, shady error message with no direct fixes found via searching in the internet

Hammer:
A lot of the stuff is corrupted and leads into the crashing of Hammer, the creation of props/materials is disabled (and who knows how to re-enable it)
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired.

I am not saying it is easy, or works out of the box. I just do not want the potential tinkerers to read your post as "doesn't work, go away"

Alright, you're right, it's likely doable as it is also probably fixable :D One possible fix I personally can think of is finding older version of SDK without updating it.

Since they confirmed HL3 in a serious way, I really really hope that they make and use "Source 2" and release their dev kit for/with it and support the thing... Hope #2 counter strike ditches cs:go and jumps up-to "Source 2" and removes the stick from their butt making them anti-modder.
Tristen: Idea!
Stinkyfax: Heheh, waste of time.
*Tristen still does it*
Tristen: Yeah..... You'r right again. :(  (Is that better Sirchipnsalsa?)

You can launch model viewer and hammer, just not using Source SDK but launching files directly.
c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\bin\
you will find hlmv.exe (Model viewer) and hammer.exe (Hammer).
In advance it won't hurt running set_sdk_env.bat as Administrator too.

Now I've met my wall :D

If anyone has knowledge over how to USE models in game (Css), do tell.
I have succesfully converted the file(s) into .vtf, .vmf and .smd - all that is required (the mod uses the same in the shaman totems)

Step by step guide made by Wookie:
Open a model in WoWModelViewer
Press file and:
Extract textures as TGA
Export file as Milk3D file

Open file in Milk3D
Spoiler
Export it as Half-Life SMD

Open the SMD with StudioCompiler, this is where the stuff gets tricky:
First go to the Material Compile screen. You want to add the TGA file(s) exported from ModelViewer and compile them in cf_textures (if the folder does not exist, create it, the route is cstrike/models/cf_textures/) by pressing compile (picture shows an example of the settings)
Posted Image

After you've compiled textures, you will go to Model Compile screen.
You will choose the model name (any name fits, it'll be the name of the .MDL) in Compiled Model box, Model type depends on the purpose. Reference SMD is the SMD you exported from Milk3D, you should put the .SMD in route "cstrike\models\cf_models_src" and use that in future reference. The models tend to be too small for css, so you can alter their size from "StudioMdl Options" button (in the lower picture) freely.
(Picture shows an example of settings)

After you have also compiled this, you will have .MDL, .VTF and .VMT in your files and you can load the model in-game with the scale you wanted and the default textures!
If you did EVERYTHING (including the model name) the same way as in this guide, you can spawn the model/prop you created in Css by enabling cheats and writing in console:
prop_dynamic_create cf_models_src/beerfest_keg_pony01
And that will create the model as a prop in the spot where you are aiming.
