We are currently working on new version. It will feature few long waited thingies including Premium Account, fixed dynamic items, balanced out items.

But in order to release it we are also working on completely new Item Manager which will allow us fix all disbalanced items and furthermore we'll be making community events where people have a chance of making their own items and best ones will be added!

New version is not far away, I am working non-stop on new item manager and expecting just few days.

While writing parser it gave me around 100's of wrong reagents settings for recipes. Fixed ~30 of them manually then got tired..

So recipes will be cheaper :O!?!?!?!!? Or well, easier to make...

I'm still not tempted to start crafting anything besides glyphs and JC (for the speed bonus) even with this potentially good news towards crafting...

In other news, while crafting a Perl script for something Stinky's working on I may have perminantly damaged a computer at work, I hit the GO button and insta locked 100% CPU for 73 minutes which the computer promptly restarted and went straight to the select a drive to boot menu.... which doesn't normally come up.


While I'm here, anyone interested in using a potentially dangerous Perl script on their machine?

The script works good on files that are less than 40k lines long but anything over 100k and it gets sketchy ... Cant wait to get home and test it on something that isn't 10 years old with 256mb of ram

what have u done there? Takes ~2 sec to scan whole items.txt file line by line with my imba java parser

Indeed, added very faint line as if that's the path a Mages energy is taking to get to the destination, I feel it will help reduce the Surprise! factor of Mages just "showing up" and spraying their victim in an instant.

AAAAAND I like the idea of "soft nerf's" that don't actually affect stats and things, this' more of a play adjustment... also, hard to notice in that picture but.... Mages no longer cast Blink with their feet! instead the blink originates from the center of their character model.. though the screenshot of my own blink effect makes me think it's still slightly low.

New Item manager has directly identified issue with series of items. For instance:


Item 18354 preferred 5.3 spent 10600.0. Delta -10594.7

Which appeared to be:
//Haste weapon for bosses
"18354"

Funny things can happen. Anyway we are coming closer to next big version.

72 epic rogue shoulders or something crap loads of armor, 1% acc, and 1 agil :C... Was my FFFFFFFFFFFF moment of the day...

Edit: 68 epic (polar chain) rogue shoulders, 6.9 rating, 1% acc, 24 armor, 1 agil

You will definitely like the random items more after the update, before the stats movement/crit chance/accuracy/attack speed acted as landmines so to speak, the formula to set those stat's point value was typo'd so that when an item was rolling secondary stats if it got one of those, a 4-in-6.5 chance then it would consume all the secondary stat points which is why MANY items have good stats for the primary ones (int/sta/agi/str).
